Madrassah Falahe Darain regards child protection and safe working practices as the highest priority.
We believe that every child has the right to be safe and to be cared for in a way that ensures his or her safety and meets his or her individual needs.
We believe that safeguarding children is the responsibility of all our staff including volunteers. We are committed to supporting and training our staff.
To support our work, the Madrassah has developed and operates a formal Child Protection policy, which sets out in detail our duty and responsibility to ensure the safety of children whilst in the Madrassah by recruiting staff and volunteers carefully, by promoting safe working practices and by reporting suspicions of child abuse to the Agencies.
We have appointed Mr Mohamad F. A. Gheewala as our Designated Person for child protection. Any parent or guardian who has a concern is welcome to speak to him by contacting the office during madrassah time.
